Onomo Hotels

Project description

Situated in the evolving landscape of Africa, Onomo's hotels are a celebration of African culture and art, strategically located across the continent. The brand's goal is to offer lifestyle hotels that showcase the unique identity and local culture of each destination.

The group trusted us with the redesign of their F&B offerings across several sites, integrating even more 'African essence' while staying true to the brand's DNA and meeting customer expectations in these diverse markets.

This project was conducted in collaboration with Chef Pierre Siewe and Penja agency.

OUR APPROACH

Market and Performance Analysis

We visited each site and analysed current performance, local competitors and market trends with Chef Pierre Siewe.

We also drew inspiration from local cultures and practices by visiting various markets, maquis, and producers, in search of inspiration and authenticity.

Finally, we conducted an on-site operations audit to determine the most coherent approach.

Creation of the F&B Offering

Based on our observations, we individually revised and refined each culinary offering (restaurant and seminars), strengthening the 'Afro Fusion' touch beloved by Onomo: a subtle blend of local, continental, and international flavors.

The major challenge was to standardize offerings and processes while preserving the uniqueness of each site.

Team Training

To ensure flawless implementation of the created offering, we also provided regular on-site training and established various tools for ongoing training and self-assessment.

This was to ensure consistent quality over the long term for sustained customer satisfaction and, consequently, recurring revenue
